Figma Make
Prompt-to-code tool in Figma for building working prototypes and web apps
Best for
Designers and product teams who want to turn Figma designs or prompts into interactive, code-backed prototypes and simple web apps.
Overview
Figma Make is Figma's prompt-to-code tool for prototypes and web apps. It can start from existing designs, code packages or a blank prompt, produces editable code with a visual editor, and includes a built-in CMS. It is included with Full seats on paid Figma plans, starting at $16 per month on Professional.
Strengths and limits
- Starts from Figma frames, design assets, Make kits, npm packages or PDFs as context
- Generated code can be edited visually, moving between code and canvas
- Built-in CMS (powered by Payload) for content in generated frontends
- Plan mode, attachments, voice prompting, custom skills, templates and MCP connectors
- Full access requires a paid Full seat; Dev and Collab seats do not list Make
- Usage draws on monthly AI credits
- Figma does not state which AI models power Make; local codebase mode is still in beta
What the free plan includes
Figma Starter is free with 150 AI credits/day, up to 500 AI credits/month; Figma says Make can be tried on other seats and plans, but full access is tied to Full seats on paid plans.
