Connect4AI helps you answer one practical question: which AI should I use for this job, and what will it cost? New models and tools ship every week, and most coverage is either hype or a press release. We turn that stream into organised, sourced reference pages you can actually decide with.
What you will find here
- AI news — model releases, product updates, research and policy, summarised in plain English with links to the original announcements.
- AI tools directory — what each tool is for, pricing and free tier, the models behind it, strengths, limits and sources.
- Best AI for… — ranked picks for coding, writing, images, video, research, meetings and more, with the reason for every pick.
- Model tracker — current and recent models from every major lab: release date, context window, API price and open-weights status.
- Benchmarks & tests — published scores side by side, every number linked to its source, plus what each test really measures.
How we work
- Sources first. Every fact page lists the pages we used, preferring official pricing pages, model cards, documentation and public leaderboards.
- No guessing. If we cannot confirm a price, date or score, we leave it blank instead of estimating it.
- Dated checks. Each record shows when its facts were last checked. AI prices and plans change often, so always confirm on the vendor’s site before you buy.
- Independent picks. Listings and rankings are not paid for. If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be clearly labelled.
- Corrections welcome. Found something wrong or outdated? Tell us with a source and we will fix it.
